Safety Pickle – Cleaning Salts

Our Safety Pickle is a trusted finishing chemical, widely used across the jewellery trade and other industries. It removes flux and oxidation from metal after soldering, leaving your pieces clean and ready for the next stage. It can also be used for brightening finished jewellery and components.

How to Use:

• Mix 50 g of Safety Pickle with 1 litre of demineralised water 

• Heat solution between 30–80 °C in a copper pan or pickling machine

• Always use copper tweezers – steel will react with the solution and blacken your work
