Citizen Capacitor 295-33 (No Returns)

To determine the correct capacitor you need to check the calibre number stamped on the movement. Do not use the number on the cell itself as different capacitors have the same cell number. The cell may be the same but the clips soldered to the cell are different and therefore they are not compatible.

Capacitors do not come with a full charge when new, instead they have almost no charge like mobile phones from a few years back. They must be charged when they are fitted new. This is done by either leaving in the light for solar watches or wearing the watch for those with a rotating weight charging system. For solar watches, leaving in a window with sunlight is best. It can take some time to get the capacitor fully charged when first fitted. If the capacitor is not holding charge this is likely a problem with the movement and charging system. We do not accept any returns on capacitors.
